LOOK | Seventy-four Student Part-Time Employment Service (SPES) Program beneficiaries

Seventy-four Student Part-Time Employment Service (SPES) Program beneficiaries were deployed in various offices in the University to serve as student assistants from Sept 1 until the end of the first semester.

This program further equip #CLSU students in the actual workplace and gain skills and knowledge relevant to their academic field.

Moreover, in exchange the beneficiaries were receiving monetary allowance for their services rendered.

Through SPES program, Kristel Calamanan, BS in Entrepreneurship, mentioned that she acquires valuable skills and knowledge relevant to the workplace during her service at the College of Business Administration and Accountancy.

“SPES provides an opportunity for me to apply learning to real-world situations, enhancing my employability in the future. The program really helps all the students because it is open to all qualified, irrespective of our gender,” she added.

The program is one of the services under the Career Development and Employment Services Unit (CDESU) of the Office of Student Affairs funded by the University Gender and Development Office (UGADO).
